30 in 30- Day 4

Similar to Day 2, this view of the Great Sippewissett Marsh is expansive, showcasing foreground vegetation, middle ground water and a distant osprey nest as well as the last houses along Black Beach.. Sippewissett is a Wampanoag name that means "little river" or "little cove". Thousands of years ago, the area depicted in this painting was filled with Atlantic White Cedars and other fresh water plants.
