30 in 30- Day 10

Well, here we are- one third of the way through the challenge. Initially,I was ahead of schedule ( I started the last week of August). I knew there would be some days in September that I couldn't paint. Now I'm a bit behind so I'm feeling some pressure to be productive. The challenge has been good for me because it's forced me to prioritize getting into my studio. It's so easy to let everything else get in the way. I'm working on 300# Fabriano in this piece. I love the heavier paper in general because it doesn't buckle. However, Fabriano is slightly more soft than Arches ( less sizing) so the color tends to soak into the paper and appear less saturated. That is a disadvantage of Fabriano for me but, since I have a supply of it, I plan to use it and try to see if I can compensate for the less intense color.
